Fast Food Results
Last week I ate a large amount of fast food. It kind of showed me what kind of quality ingredients they use in their cooking. I had fast food couple days strait and my stomach had a slight change in feeling and mood. My stomach fealt really bothered and upset, I tried flushing it out with some water. Still didnt feel too well after a good night sleep, had a slight loss of appetite. Well now when it comes down to it, I decided to cut down on my fast food intake. It may be better for my health.

Some interesting information..
Yesterday I looked through a magazine and I read some pretty interesting facts about McDonald's and fast food, I got some notes and facts on some stuff I would like to share. Everyday there is an average of 1 in 4 Americans that visits a fast food restaurant which is probably why 60% of Americans are overweight or obese. There are large food sources being produced everywhere, here in the US we eat an average of 1,000,000 animals per hour, they were also explaining about how french fries are the most eaten vegetable in America I believe it cause usually everyone asks for an extra side order of fries to go with their meal.

Fast Food Day!
Today I went on a crazy mission, I decided to have a fast food day. First off i started my day off with two of McDonald's egg sausage McMuffin sandwiches, a hash brown, and a large sweet tea. Then later on in the day when lunch hit I went off to go get some jack in the box I bought 4 tacos, 2 Jr. bacon cheeseburgers, a large curly fry, and a large Dr. Pepper. Later that night I had a really big craving for Wendy's so I went to go get 2 Jr. bacon cheeseburgers, 10 spicy chicken nuggets, and a strawberry milkshake. Now my stomach is not feeling well at all, I don't know if its all the fast food I ate today or if its just the jalepeno chips i just ate.

The Movie.. SUPER SIZE ME
Today I watched the movie Super Size Me, a very interesting movie about McDonald's. It started off with this guy, he wanted to do a little experiment on the food they are offering at McDonald's. He was going to eat strictly McDonald's for a short period of time, and see the effects on his body. He went to the doctors and specialists to check his health and how his body is doing, and from what the doctors said he was just an average healthy person. He was doing pretty well the first couple days, he had to say yes every time they asked if he wanted it super sized. I'm pretty sure I could eat McDonald's for couple days strait. After about a week of eating their food, 3 meals a day he seemed pretty out of it. He began throwing up after meals and you can see he was clearly disgusted. After the whole movie he gained a bunch of weight, he had a big belly and he looked out of shape. He went to the doctors and the results clearly dropped and he was really out of shape and unhealthy.

Countless Fast Food Joints
California was being controlled by the fast food business. Driving down a street for 20 minutes you would run into countless numbers of fast food places, all in clusters and small groups. I would understand that cause there were many people into the fast food industry and every company or business was just finding whatever way they can to make money. Even now there are a bunch of fast food joints all over the place, you could leave home and go for a 5 minute drive to the nearest fast food spot. Seeing all the people grow obese in size kind of discus me, but I still enjoy my fast food.

Carl's Drive in BBQ
Some guy named Carl decided to open up a drive in BBQ joint. He had a house couple blocks down from his shop and he was making real good business after World War II cause of the economy. His drive in place was just a few miles from where Disney Land is now. Carl heard about some other burger joint sixty miles of Los Angeles, so he went to go check it out. He went to San Bernardino and saw another burger joint with a fat line of people waiting to get their food, guess what the place was called? Mcdonald Brothers Burger Bar Drive-In. These brothers were super rich and had one of the biggest houses in San Bernardino.

Back to the book
I read a couple pages of the "Fast Food Nation" today and got a little information to share. From what I read, it says that the fast food industry was mainly started by a lot of people who never attended college or even business school. The fast food industry also relys on the lowpaid workforce and unskills workers. There was about 3.5 million people working at fast food industries in the 1990's, which is the largest group of people who earn minimum wage. Ill have another post later today, I must get back on track.
