Book Introduction

Today I started reading the first couple pages of Fast Food Nation. It started off with Cheyenne Moutain, explaining the different work done inside the tunnels and passage ways. People there would eat cafeteria food and get tired of it, so Burger King or Domino's was the place to go. Fast food basically began with hotdog and hamburger stands down in california, then it started to spread like a disease. Fast food was everywhere around the nation, billions and billions of dollars were spent by Americans on fast food.

The intro was pretty interesting, ill get further into the book and post more soon.

  1. Why do you think fast food caught on so quickly and was so popular?
Please make sure to edit your post-you must capitalize proper nouns like the names of places!

  2. I believe that fast food caught on so quickly because people weren't used to getting their food within a few minutes maybe even seconds. Also another reason would be that the price is so darn cheap compared to a nice sit down restaurant.

Alright I will re-edit this and make sure its all capitalized.
